OVERVIEW
In-house One-on-one Coaching
While online coaching can be highly effective, nothing accelerates learning and execution like in-person, one-on-one coaching. In-house sessions allow for real-time feedback, hands-on cueing, and immediate corrections that dramatically shorten the learning curve and improve training quality.
At FitAF Performance, in-person coaching is designed for individuals who want precision, accountability, and maximal return on their training time.
Why In-person Coaching Matters
Even well-designed programs can fall short if execution is lacking. Subtle errors in technique, tempo, setup, or effort can limit progress or increase injury risk over time.
One-on-one coaching allows us to:
- Refine movement patterns in real time
- Improve exercise execution and efficiency
- Adjust loading, volume, and pacing instantly
- Ensure progressive overload is applied correctly
- Reinforce proper breathing, bracing, and control
This level of oversight is impossible to replicate through programming alone.
Session Structure
At FitAF Performance, in-house coaching follows a single, intentional structure designed to maximize performance while allowing adequate recovery.
- Ten minutes: Active, end-range, and dynamic warm-up
- Seventy minutes: Progressive overload training
- Ten minutes: Passive cooldown and recovery
This format allows sufficient rest between sets, proper muscle glycogen restoration, and central nervous system recovery to support effective overload training.
While sixty-minute sessions can produce results, most clients train once per week. The ninety-minute structure ensures meaningful progress without rushing the process.
